What a shamful act; it is said that a Guru or teacher guides and shows the way to his/her follower. So I suppose all the students might be eating the same gutka brand and in the same style like the VC.
But hold on, the staff and the students are also responsible for allowing him to chew gutka in front of them. He should have been warned by the staff (those who don't chew pan and gutka or smoke).
Before chewing Gutkha he should think that he holds a responsible position (Post of VC). His act proves that there is no difference between a Peon and a VC.
What is the difference between a peon and vc, u have made. in our country u ll say it is money and power.

How on earth does that make a difference? And to whom? Don't you guys have better things to discuss? Our very own Berhampur University has seen worst of the people indulging in the most inhuman of the acts. Compared to the standards those souls have set, this "so-called" horrendous act by Prof. Sahu does not merit a mention. what say?
